Summer & Fall Baseball

16U Summer Baseball Information

• Season will begin two weeks after the end of Varsity season and tournament play will conclude by the end of June
• The team will play in 5-6 tournaments in the metro area, including the McEachern Wood Bat Tournament www.mceachernathletics.org
• Check dates for tournaments and updates on our web site
• Coached by Lane Wood & Rick Nixon.
• College players to help out: Jesse Wood & Kyle Newell.
• First Practice will start on Monday May 18th @ 5:30pm.
• Physicals need to be brought to Coach Wood.
• Fee is $200/player. Talk to Tim Day Or Lane Wood if Financial help is needed.
• Make checks payable to: Marietta Extra Inning Club.
• Money is due May 18th.
• Money goes for hats, shirts, and baseballs.

Fall Team Information

• Open to all prospective MHS players. See Coach Stafford to sign up.
• Coached by Coach Terry Von Nieda and Lane Wood.
• College & Minor League Players to help coach.
• Cost $199 per player for umpires, coaching, etc.
• Cost includes uniform: hat & shirt.
• Please pay Rick Nixon prior to first game on Sept 3.
• Make checks payable to: Marietta Extra Inning Club.
• Be sure to have your physical on file with Athletic Director Paul Hall.
• Games - Home: Tuesdays, Away: Thursdays, September - October
• Fall Game Schedule: Fall Baseball Game Schedule
• Practice weekly Mondays at 3:00 PM and Saturdays at 12:00 noon at MHS.
• Tournament at MHS planned for end of fall season.
