An award in memory of Jackie Smallwood; outstanding citizen, student, and athlete - class of 1969.

As US Air Force - Captain, he received the Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, and survived over 100 missions in Vietnam War. He was shot down over Cambodia on June 16, 1973.

The Jackie Smallwood Award is bestowed upon a senior who, like it's namesake, is exemplary in all areas of life: athletics, academics, and citizenship. Recipients demonstrate consistency throughout their high school career. This prestigious honor comes with a monetary scholarship.
