College and Beyond
- Austin Hyatt (2004) was drafted in the 23rd round in 2004 by the Atlanta Braves.
- Tim Turner (2000) was drafted in the 50th round in 2003 by the Mariners, and is now with the Padres organization (2005, 2006).
- Cooter Swanson and Steve Farmer were team mates on the 1974 Marietta baseball team and their sons Chase (2003) and Steven (2001) played for the Blue Devils in 2000 and 2001.
- David Noyce (1995) played Minor League ball from 1998-2002.
- Marvin Hudson (1989) became a Major League umpire in 1999; Worked the 2004 All-Star Game and the 2005 National League Division Series (HOU-ATL) amoung others.
- Eric Zier was the starting shortstop on the 1990 team.
- Steve Smith (1971), is now an Assistant Baseball Coach at the University of Georgia.
- City Councilman Pete Waldrep, was a 3 year letterman and graduated in 1968.
- The 1963 team won the Regional championship by beating Sprayberry, 2 to 1. Jackie Smallwood got the win against Jim Nash, two years later Nash was the American league rookie of the year.
- Jim Bagby's, the captain of the 1960 Marietta team, dad, Jim, was the pitcher for the Cleveland Indians who stopped Joe DiMaggio's 56 game hitting streak in 1941.
- Marietta's old home field was the largest in Cobb County, 325 down the lines and 395 to center.
- Marietta won the North Georgia Intercollegiate Conference Baseball title in 1941.
